Fluoropolymer (FEP) is the most inert material available for sample storage. Its primary drawbacks are permeability and cost. FEP offers the highest use temperatures among all sampling materials, ranging from -400°F to +400°F. Different types of fluoropolymers have varying temperature ranges:

• FEP: -400°F to +500°F
• PFA: -400°F to +500°F
• ETFE: -400°F to +300°F
